A challenging variation of our most popular Pilates class. For those who have a little more experience on the reformer. This is a high energy, fast-paced but low impact, full body workout that utilizes the Pilates reformer and props! This class combines elements of cardio, strength, core and flexibility in on high energy workout.

Pilates Reformer: For Men (and everyone else too)

Why a "men's class"? We've found that men often have a lot of erroneous perceptions of Pilates--namely that it is for women so we wanted to create a class that welcomed men and helped to dispel that false belief. After all, Joseph Pilates created the method to help rehabilitate soldiers from wartime injuries! Although geared towards the Pilates -curious gentleman, this class is for anyone looking for a challenge. We will target issues men often need to work on most: flexibility, core strength and balance using the deeper underlying musculature vs the bigger superficial muscles. This unique class will challenge you to look at strength in a whole new way!

Pilates Reformer & Stretch

Pilates Reformer and Stretch gives you the fundamentals of a Pilates reformer class and lots of feel good stretching and contraction. Emphasis is on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance. Dynamic, controlled movements in this class improves flexibility, builds strength targets postural muscle groups. Great for an intense, but mild workout with loads of stretching!

Pilates Mat

This class involves full body movements focusing on the 6 main Pilates principles, primarily breath and flow. Learn to activate your deep core muscles in each movement while focusing on proper form and alignment. This system of controlled exercises promotes keen body awareness, strengthens and tones, improves balance and performance, encourages flexibility and mobility, reduces chance for injury and relieves stress. TRX: Power Hour Class at Harmony Studios

Massage, Release and Roll

Join us for a myofascial release class designed to target trigger points and release muscle tightness while using the foam roller and other self-massage aids. This restorative class will help with muscle recovery and restore functionality to the muscles to improve mobility and range of motion which will in turn help you gain flexibility and improve your performance in your more active classes. Perfect for those rest days!

Class Cancellation Policy

Should you ever need to cancel a class reservation we required that you do so at least 12 hours in advance of the class start time in order to avoid losing your session. Failure to provide this notice will result in your being charged in full for the class. If you are not able to make it to a class, please cancel online or by calling or emailing us prior to the class start time (even one minute). This will give other clients who may be on the wait list a chance to grab a spot in class.
