Michelle DuVall

Michelle is an honors graduate from the University of the Arts and holds a BFA in Modern Dance performance. She has performed with various dance companies in New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, and even as far away as Tokyo, Japan. In 2008 she completed her 600-hr comprehensive certification through Power Pilates in New York City under the direction of Bob Leikens and Susan Moran. Michelle was featured in Power Pilates' marketing and educational materials, including a commercial collaboration with the USA Sevens Rugby team. Combining her love for dance and fitness, Michelle went on to co-create the ballet barre workout, BeyondBarre. She developed and directed the company's education program and, as a master trainer, certified instructors across the United States in BeyondBarre. At Chaise Fitness in New York City Michelle taught TRX and the Reinvention method, which was created by mother-daughter duo Lauren and Rachel Piskin of New York City Ballet.
Join us for a myofascial release class designed to target trigger points and release muscle tightness while using the foam roller and other self-massage aids. This restorative class will help with muscle recovery and restore functionality to the muscles to improve mobility and range of motion which will in turn help you gain flexibility and improve your performance in your more active classes.
